Airport commercial offering included through Rappi are: Attenza Duty Free, República del Cacao, Flor de Liz, The Legendary Hat Company and Travel Stores in the national commercial area. Diners members will have the option to receive their Duty-Free purchases while they wait comfortably in the terminal's pre-boarding lounges or at VIP lounges.

This association also aims to reactivate the shops at the Quito International Airport, promoting standards such as the necessary social distancing. “Given the progressive return of operations at Quito International Airport, we join forces to promote and promote sales that were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. We want to provide a safe and quick option for frequent travelers to make their purchases in advance, through our platform, in stores such as the Duty-Free which will allow them to pick up their order without exposing themselves to any type of infection", expressed Alejandro Freund, CEO of Rappi Ecuador.

This alliance commenced on September 15 and seeks to strengthen existing operators within the Airport. In the 'Quito International Airport' button, users will be able to browse and buy products, shop in advance through the app and collect them without queuing or receive them in the VIP lounge of the Airport.

Andrew O’Brian, President and CEO of Quiport, said that “this alliance with Rappi seeks to offer passengers at the Quito airport the possibility of making all their purchases in a fast, efficient and safe way. We are adapting to new times, to changes in the way we shop and to the needs of our passengers. The commercial offer of the Quito airport is very varied and offers high quality in its products and services. We know that a part of the travel experience is precisely shopping at the airport and with Rappi we are offering a service that will provide new standards in the experience of our passengers”.

This project confirms Rappi's commitment to promoting effective technology to promote different types of businesses while aiding the activities of its users.
